The Revival is a theater and education company that was founded at the birthplace of improvisation in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. The Revival uses improvisation - and its underlying skill set - to affect personal, professional and social change both at home in Chicago and around the world.
Catharine Savage is originally from Boxford, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Brown University with a degree in History and Gender Studies. Catharine has trained at The Second City and regularly performs in the Armando Diaz Experience.
Before joining The Revival, Jeff Gandy oversaw the Youth Education Programs at The Second City for 11 years. He has also been a faculty member at the Old Town School for over 15 years. Jeff is an accomplished dancer and choreographer and an original member of the long-running sketch comedy group, The Fowler Family.
Wilfredo "Freddie" Ramos Jr.
Wilfredo “Freddie” Ramos Jr. is a writer, educator, and improviser. In addition to working with The Revival, Wilfredo currently teaches with Steppenwolf Theatre, Writers Theatre, and Northlight Theatre. Wilfredo holds a Bachelor's in English Degree with a Creative Writing Concentration from Yale University.
